I recently went on a gator hunt in Louisiana, unfortunately i did kill it with a gun, but i would really like to talk to anyone who HAS SHOT OR HAS EXPERIENCE IN BOW HUNTING GATORS! It's how i would like to harvest my next one in two years when i head back! If this is on anyone's bucket list..... DO IT! attaching a short video from the trip!

Congrats! I'm confused though....did you catch them on a line first then shoot it?

the first one on the video was caught on a line, the second one i actually snagged with a treble hook (yes like the way they used to do it on that swamp people show) while he was trying to eat on an otter! once we got him near the boat is when i shot him! talk about a crazy adrenaline rush!
