On my wife, Lana... :)
We've been hunting the last two weeks and on the first Monday, I get a text messages saying "I just killed a buck and he's dead right in front of me!" :) That was music to my ears!
She made a 33 yard shot and absolutely made a great shot. Thought I'd share with everyone. I'm super proud of her!
Another bigger buck came down and beat her already dead buck up for a minute or so also. She definitely was in the zone!

Hats off to you as well, Rick. It takes a special person that doesn’t sit around and pout (in public anyway) when his wife consistently out shoots him.
We had a great two weeks! Only one evening sit where I didn't see a deer. She saw deer every sit. Warm weather kept the big bucks at bay somewhat, but all and all it was a great two weeks.
Funny thing... we went home once and took the buck and the processed meat home. When we were leaving, I caught her out in the garage looking into the freezer at her buck. She's got the fever, bad! Lol

PECO... funny stuff. I actually get a good laugh at her occasionally. We'll be at camp and she'll have remnants of the days makeup on her face. While she's trying to talk about something serious, I'm giggling and she's like... what!? I laugh and tell her it's hard to take you seriously with that stuff on your face. Lol!
