Things are starting to slow down around here. Thought you guys might like a few pictures. I had a late season cow tag. As you can see below we missed the migration. It would have been quite a sight to see. Literally hundreds and hundreds of tracks. According to the gps we did 14 miles Saturday and 8 Sunday. I didn’t find a fresh set of tracks until Sunday at noon and by then the wind was blowing 40-50. Still good times.

Lark, no doubt about it. Problem is if you’re early there are no elk, if you’re late there are no elk. If you’re just right they are everywhere, but the odds of the 1st big storm of the year hitting the week you pick a tag are slim. Last year I did 4th and missed it. This year late and missed it. 3 years ago 3rd and missed it!!!!
