2 Massholes at our NY CAMP for the last wk end of rifle. Missed a beauty 8 pt last wk. maybe he come back. As I sit here in the dark in camp with the fire a blazin I can here owls callin to each other outside. It’s a balmy 20 degrees with a light wind. Clear though. Moonshine a filterin thru the forest. We saw about 8 deer strikes on the way up here on the highway. Kinda glad I’m not huntin in a snowstorm. Never had much luck. Before and after but not usually during. Good luck to all givin it hell. Will post from da tree.

Took a quick drive around the block b4 goin in. 2 hunters and 1 deer crossing the road. In the stand now in gray light. Hopeful.

12 to 15 shots so far. Nuthin close. Had a Parrish’s land about 6 ft from my tree. Spooked when I tried to get his pic. Is it snowing in ma.?

Pal had 7 does and a four pt pushed past him by the drivers. He a trophy hunter. Didn’t shoot.
