Ken Moody Safaris Western Cape Spotlight
In addition to the luxury lodge I posted about in the previous thread, we also hunt the Western Cape from an equally beautiful bowhunting only venue. Located about an hour from Cape Town, this venue offers you the opportunity to hunt and tour from one location. Additionally, the property borders the West Coast National Park and is only 6 miles from the Langebaan Lagoon where we offer both shore and deep sea fishing, specializing in Giant Yellowfin Tuna. (Google Langebaan Lagoon). Overall, this is a premier location for anyone looking for an "all in" South African experience. And, as this property is in the winter rainfall area, the best times to come hunt are October thru May which provides you a chance to hunt Africa during a different time of the year from the traditional seasons.
Species on offer here include: Eland, Gemsbok, Cape Kudu, Zebra, Fallow Deer, Springbok, Black Wildebeest, Blue Wildebeest, Ostrich, Duiker and Bontebok.
In addition to hunting: touring the coast and Cape Town, Deep Sea Fishing, Lagoon Fishing, Shark Cage Diving.
Have a look at the accommodations at this exclusive hunting property.
Yes, shark cage diving. We're always looking for some more "baiters." Interested? ha, ha, ha.
Wow that’s come a long way from the the Clarkrange Lodge I stayed at!!!!
Yea, about 8300 miles, ha, ha.
Oh I don't know it had a certain rustic feel to it. :>
Ken, I'm more bait than most sharks can handle. lol
Never really had the urge for an Africa trip but this dang sure has me interested
It’s a wonderful experience and our Western Cape location is minutes from the ocean. Great for a family adventure.
We are right on the border of the West Coast National Park, 6 miles from the Lagoon. Deep Sea and Lagoon fishing we offer in addition to outstanding bowhunting here.
A lot of these in the area, ha, ha.
Shark week is filmed off the coast of SA. I had to do it (cage dive) when I was there, very cool experience. Just hold your breath when you're down wind of seal island.
We’ve just today booked a Bowsite husband wife hunt/adventure here at our Western Cape venue for December. You too can spend your Christmas in beautiful South Africa along the coast for quality hunting, fishing, and touring. Perfect time of year to bowhunt in the area. WC is driest this time of year.
Have to say if you hadn't had this package I'd be waiting another year to go again lol
You and Brenda will absolutely love the hunting and Western Cape area. Totally different than the bush hunting you’ve done previously.
She's already getting jacked up for it . The need to have list has already started. ;)
Women like lists, lol. You need one as well; cape kudu, etc.
Hell that's already done my friend!
Black Wildebeest, Springbok, I’m just helping you out here...ha, ha.
Kudu, gemsbuck ,springbok, black wildebeast, anything hog in it's name christ I may have to get a fallow while there :) Actually I wish I'd had taken Brenda with me before. This trip has everything for a great time hunting ,fishing, hunting, tours ,hunting ,Castles, did I mention hunting
You are correct. We are booking a lot of families for that very reason.
If they are underage for drinking do I get their alotment of Castles? Just thought I'd throw that out there; ?
Seriously we expect to enjoy the hell out of this and I hope to keep the skinning shed busy lol
Sorry Dave, this is a “dry” camp...ha, ha, ha (I wouldn’t do that to you my friend)
This is Brenda just called the amulance for Dave. Had the phone in his hand reading it gasped and collapsed. After reading this thread I'v cancelled the amulance it's just the shock from reading the words "dry camp "
