I would have thought the lion would have been all over that deer, decoy from the very beginning. Maybe a young cat unsure of itself.

I didn't see a pounch but it was a cool video non the less. What a neat experience. I bet if the decoy had a twitching tail or moving head the cat would have leaped up on the decoys back. You could tell as the cat came in he was really confused and knew something just wasn't right.

Pretty cool video, I agree Paul when they pounce on prey they usually don't mess around like that. Now just tell the deer to stay still from now on when a mountain lion approaches and they wont be harmed :)

I wonder if the Decoy had any type of Scent sprayed on it.........

I thought for sure it would attack!! haha
