This is an urban hunt for does only. It's cold -3, light wind. Someone has decided to appropriate the use of my stand. I take my bottom section of steps when I leave; i came in to find a new bottom section secured to the tree. And another hunter has set up a stand 25 yards from me.

I'm fine with the new stand, (this urban hunt has alot of close quarters, )but surprised with the new section of steps.

There's an urban area of North Dakota? only hunted one "tree popping" cold day down here in MO. took me awhile to figure out it was the sap in the cedars freezing and expanding. pretty neat. good luck.

Yep. One hunt is in Fargo, and there are three different hunts in Bismarck this year.

I had four feeding, but none close enough for a shot.

I also remove my sticks. I hate making it easy.
