Hello all, was out in the Flat Tops Wilderness a few years ago. Beautiful country. I believe it was unit 25& 26 which was OTC. Is that still the case? I heard all of the Flat Tops was draw now, not just certain units like 24 & 12. Thanks

I'm guessing your asking about archery Elk season, units 25 & 26 are OTC, Units 12 & 24 are draw.

Archery is draw, Rifle is OTC for 2nd and 3rd Rifle. These are Units 23, 24, &12 if you are accessing via Ripple Creek Pass or the Meeker side of the Flattops. New Castle and the south side are a different unit but part of the "flattops".

GMU's 25, 26, 231 & 34 are OTC archery, 12, 23, 24 & 33 are valid on private property with OTC tag. All of those GMU's are OTC for rifle 2nd and 3rd. However the new regs haven't come out yet so it might change this year but I doubt it. BTW I can see the Flattops from my house in Glenwood Springs. Let me know in a PM if I can help out.

Exhughes2, that is some beautiful country you live in. I worked in Junction for 18 months and just love that part of CO. Caught some great browns out of the Colorado just outside of Glenwood Springs too!
