Sadly, the shootings were 9th Ward gang wars. Crossbows may be the new weapon of choice for "gang snipers". The airgun may be too loud even for gang warfare !!

JTV: that story was written by a non hunting idiot. According to the story not only was the woman shot with a 6" bolt, but the crossbow and longbow both had silencers that were seized.
