You didn't show how you made sure the aluminum angle "iron" was square to the saw disc... That would have been helpful...

Agreed Mike...or square anything. Who needs an accurately cut shaft anyway? grin

One block should be MUCH closer to the blade so you don't have so much arrow hanging out and flexing while cutting.

I used to drive a lot of nails. Therefore, I own a miter saw. A $6 metal cutting blade does wonders and I don't have to Flash latch my dremmel tool. But, hey if it works for you, good for you. But, I'd definitely take the advice above from Nick and get that last block up within an inch of the dremmel tool to take the flex of the shaft out when cutting it. Thanks for sharing and God Bless

Doesn't look terribly precise to me.
Just an FYI, cut off saws designed for arrow cutting are not all that expensive to buy.
