Eastern Spring Bear?

So I know of the Western states that offer a Spring season, what about back East? Outfitters, DIY opportunities? Looking to see different country...

Michigan has opportunities but it is by draw. As usual different areas take different points. Ohio does not have a season. Pennsylvania and WV do but I don't have any 1st hand knowledge of specifics.

PA has no spring bear season,only fall.

No spring bear seasons in the Eastern states (as far as I know) except that some of the Indian Reservations in Maine do it. If you look into this, double check who gets the meat and the hide, because I have heard that this can be an issue.
