alfalfa plot

I have a marginal clover/alfalfa plot that wants to be a all alfalfa plot. I know I have to wait 6 months to a year to replant alfalfa after I kill and till. Question is can I replant a brassica (kale/rape)mix over that field while waiting for the alfalfa poison to leave?

I would think you shouldn’t have any issues doing that. You are talking planting the brassicas in July/August, then replanting the alfalfa the following spring, correct?

Are you killing then planting? Should have some decent N credits for those brassicas.
