A few years ago, maybe 25, I participated in a charity archery tournament down in AL. We all shot Byron Ferguson Longbows and the money went to a hospital. I wonder how many can identify the two guys I am with in this photo? (Hint- they are both in music business. One sings beautifully, the other is rumored to pick a red guitar.)

Gary Morris in the middle and, from the looks of the shirt, Bob Marley on the right.

Betts use to claim he could play guitar. Had the Allman brothers convinced. Morris had a semi-hit- "Wind Beneath my Wings", among others. Prolly before your time.

pretty sure Betts could play guitar, I remember. Had no idea he played a long bow though...

We saw Gary Morris at an outdoor concert in Gallatin last summer, his voice is still good as ever.

Betts was a big longbow hunter...back then. Haven't seen he or Gary in quite a while.

The only “Wind Beneath my Wings” I know, is a Bette Midler song.

Gary had a huge hit with it on country charts many years ago.

Shug nailed it. Dickie is still one of my favorites.

I remember Gary had "My Secondhand Heart" in the early '80s.
