Got an email saying I was unsuccessful, then another email two hours later saying they couldn't charge my card for the points. WTH? After three fruitless attempts on their website and going round and round on their 800 number, the (absolutely clueless) "customer no-service" lady said to call back later! Again: WTH? I've never run into a more incompetent operation.

My deer drawing still shows "Entered" for the status. However there is now a button there that says "Pay Balance" and when you click it shows $40 owed. Also the price showed $3 this morning and now shows $43. So there are some updates taking place on the deer drawing.

I also got a double email for my elk point. Just went to check on the balance due and it showed up under the deer draw which I am entered. My CC info is correct in my profile, so I'm guessing there are some bugs that have popped up on this new system.

BTM and DEMO- I am in the same boat. I applied for Elk PP and recvd 2 e-mails. 2nd stating that they were unable to charge my cc. Nothing wrong with my cc. I cannot find a pay balance icon on my account and phone # is busy. Not even vx mail. Must be on a weed break.

Not sure why people call the CPW offices? The Draws are done by a third party and literally the Division does not have answers on draws until they are updated. On my run last night, my neighbor pulled up (NW Regional Manager) and their offices have been hounded with calls- which they have no information to assist-

Scott- In my case, I would rather get it squared on-line. But the instructions in e-mail tell me to follow "Pay balance" in my account, yet no such link exists in my account. (IE Dead end) I know it is a BS response e-mail because there is nothing wrong with my account or credit card. (IE A draw error). But the only option left is phone.
I will have a pending deer draw that I should actually draw, and I don't want to see this get hosed up also.

$40 might be the point "maintenance" fee, and not a license at all. The NR deer-fishing combo tag is $396.

My hunting buddies from MO drew their elk tags.....I drew a pref point and got an OTC tag for elk. And my CC was hit for both $46 for elk and $31 for deer. Sweet!

I had the same double email. The first email said successful payment and the second email said that the payment was not successful. I was only applying for a PP.
They just sent a third email saying that the unsuccessful payment email was sent in error.
They seem to be working out some glitches.

Mine says Accepted on top and down below it says hunt awarded then the hunt code and summary. No charge on card and no change in preference point. My elk pp was increased however. So did I draw the deer tag?

Got an email last night (5June about 4pm MST) that said which deer tag I drew. The IPAWS account was updated. There is a green colored "ACTIVE" for the deer/fishing combo tag. I'm a NR.

All went smooth for me... Got the email stating that I drew my deer tag, went on the CPW website and it shows that I was awarded the tag, and my 10 points have gone to zero. Still no charges on my CC card though.

My deer and elk points are now updated. 9 deer and 3 elk. Still mad at myself for buying an elk point. That was dumb. Will start looking into options for burning the deer points next year.

Well I guess the only good thing about the new system is the leftover list was emailed to me 6 times last night by the CPW since I didn't draw deer and my daughter didn't draw elk.

I wonder if they switched to the lowest bidder to process applications and conduct the draw like Idaho this year. They're a mess as well.
So far the only state that made a switch that has worked is Utah. That's strange right there!

I think CO has the same vendor as KS now. KS was horrible too. They actually sent a bunch of people 2 buck tags in a 1 buck only state. LOL. They also charged a $25 convenience fee for applying.

Yikes thanks! I did not think they had the odds up yet! I have 10 now so it looks like 2020 unless I get really really really lucky and guys bail (the opposite is happening) and they increase tags and I draw in lowest pool!
