I finally drew after all of these years. I have been in the drawing every year since 1994. I drew a bull tag for zone 1, Oct. 8-13.
This is shaping up to be a very good year.

No luck for me. Didn't want it anyway as I expect to burn my Wyoming max deer points. Congrats Eric. Hope you get your points worth. I have applied almost as long. Did get lucky in NH 2012 so I'm playin with house money now anyway.

Eric, congratulations on the tag. I don’t know anything about zone 1 but zone 4, just to the south, was crawling with moose when I was there in 2009. You will have a great time.

Zone 1is very good. If you are looking for lodging and or guides, check out Ross Lake Camps. www.rosslakecamps.com Donald and Andrea live right at the junction of 4 units and have phenomenal success on everything they do. They book fast.

My Buddy drew zone 6 after 30 plus years. He needs an outfitter. He is looking at Shepard Hunting Co. or Camp Wapiti. Both from Patten, Maine. Any input good or bad would be helpful. Thanks

If you guys are on Facebook, check out the Maine Moose Hunting group. Lots of good local info. I highly recommend Dennis Perry of Perry's Guide Service. He hunts different zones but if I drew zone 1 or 2 I'd do a swap and have Dennis call one in for me to shoot with a bow.
