Iron Will Broadhead Drawing Posters
Why don't you guys post on regular threads?
I don't recognize more than 1/2 of the guys on that thread. Perhaps Pat should start handing out broadheads...
Why don't you lurkers introduce yourselves and start posting?
****A great reason to be a bowsite sponsor!!!! Almost all of the clients I get as a Bowsite Sponsor are " LURKERS ". BOWSITE ROCKS!!!****
Some guys are good at marketing!
I think the odds are now better to draw a Breaks Bighorn tag.
That’s “philly philly” my man
Ike, the number of "lurkers" is truly incredible. I'm sure Pat or Charlie could put a number on it. I know I personally experience it a lot as I go to 3D shoots, or big game banquets, stuff like that where bowhunters might gather. Amazing how many people come up and introduce themselves to me, especially when half pint is with me, saying they followed one of our threads on Bowsite. I always ask them their handle and the common response is "I hardly ever post, I just like reading the stories or looking at pictures". All good but just very interesting!
Could be a good thing. A lot of current posters add “valuable content” and I don’t think Bowsite, as a general rule, is a sea of garbage to sift through. On the other hunt if we attracted more people even just for hunt recaps that would be cool!
Love the hunt recaps for sure. Maybe we can get lucky and get a few lurkers to post up a hunt recap:)
Ike, Regular posters like us haven't learned the old rule, "Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than..." ;-)
IdyllwildArcher, LOL......I thought the EXACT SAME THING. Rarely does a thread get over 100 posts...........unless there is something being given away. Then BOOM.....gimmee gimmee!
I’m a regular poster. Two cups of coffee and a bran muffin in the morning does it.
if you ain't in you can't win
M.Pauls, I agree. On FB I belong to a few groups and the content will make you scratch your head and say what the f..... I can't stomach most of the posts in those groups, but there are quite a few beauties in full velvet getting posted lately and its always great to see those who find success.
Another interesting question would be, why do you care?
Well buyse's post pretty much sums it up, seems its best he/they stay button lipped.
I think they look like awesome broadheads. But I will stay away cause my lack of shooting skills. I cry bad enough when I lose a $15 acc with a $13 montec it. And I don't think the warranty would cover all of the ones I lose to getting all nerved up and not range the animal, miss, or hit something and never see the arrow again. But like I sad, they look like one helluva broadhead. So I am not going to hurt the drawing odds
I thought the same thing it actually made me not take part. Scared me away
No offense to iron will they are the nicest broadheads ive ever held in my hand
That question was not meant to be demeaning Ohiohunter. I think it is compliment that so many people share, learn, and debate topics that we all love and are passionate about. It does not matter one bit to me if people "lurk." I had no idea those broadheads even existed until I logged on to Bowsite. They look awesome.
Happy hunting everyone, even you Ohio. :)
Good chance if I win I will end up buying some to go with it. Bill is a smart man.
It certainly came across as demeaning hence my knee jerk response, intention vs perception, I apologize.
I meet lurkers all the time - amazing how many are really out there. Met a guy in the woods in WY last year who recognized me, reads my live hunts and articles. Same story - on here all the time, rarely posts. At least he didn't want to fight me! ;-)
"Another interesting question would be, why do you care?"
Simple. Because Bowsite forums is user-driven content. If no one posts, there's nothing to read. There's tons of guys out there with tons of experiences and hunt stories, etc. If more people posted, there'd be more content. Additionally, I've met a ton of great guys through Bowsite, but it's specifically because they post.
That is a good point. There are some kick ass hunters on here that are very knowledgeable, and more importantly just good people. I hope we can all share some good stories after this year. Luck!
I think that he has some excellent marketing skills! I have gone on every day and put in my entry. Finally after realizing that my chance at winning some are very slim so I just went ahead and ordered some!!
6x6 bull: You are not alone:)
Then there are those that have to post on every thread....
"And then there are those who have to post on every thread"
And this is a problem because? If every Bowsiter lurked like snuffer there would be no Bowsite.
Thanks to those who "post on every thread". Diverse opinions and perspectives are important. Too bad it takes a giveaway prize to draw some people out.
I cruised by that post because my art skills are sub par. Perhaps I should give it a read.
Some people like to visit more than others.
I respond to stuff on the main forum sometimes, but on the ct forum im like an old cacklin hen....lol
By the way , if its free its for me..put me in
Albert Soady: As grandpa Alfonse always said, anything free is worth saving up for.
I suspect some like to be dazzled with brilliance, while others like to be baffled with bullchit. There's plenty of both here!??
