No tags AND my points are not updated. I hope that is not some kind of glitch.

My daughters drew Jr deer and javalina tags and all I got was a strip deer tag! I love Arizona... Ed F

In got a "Sorry, Charlie" for both deer and sheep.
Next year, however, I should have enough points to draw a great deer tag.

No love here either. This will be the first time I will be helping on more hunts than I drew. My lone hunt is a WY mule deer hunt. So I will help friends in their primo hunts. Utah SW Desert elk & Maine unit 1 moose. Got a lot of driving ahead of me. Actually great year for this as I’ll have my wife along. This way we can leave when she gets bored. Lots of attractions in between.

39W sheep tag for me after 18 years. I still keep checking the portal over and over again to make sure it's real. Doesn't seem possible.
I live close by, and outside of guiding some youth elk hunters in Oct, my fall is wide open (picked the right year to draw nothing anywhere else across the west, I guess). Plenty of time to find an old ram or two. Would love to try with my recurve, but I'd like to hear from others more familiar with the unit to know if this is a foolish idea or not. Hunting with my 9 year old son is pretty high on my priority list so he can experience a sheep hunt as well, even if that means he's watching through the spotting scope.
Planning on heading over to start getting familiarized with the unit this weekend and perhaps set out some trail cameras. If anyone has any info that they wouldn't mind sharing to narrow things down a little, I'd gladly accept it.
OK, going back to check the portal again and bask in its glow....

The number three desert ram in Arizona with a bow was taken in that unit, so it's definitely possible!

Oh boy, more bonus points for a Sheep tag. The only thing worse than sucking doughnut holes with 28 points for sheep is doing it with 29 or 30 points I guess. Congrats to those who drew.
