elk Hunting Montana units 315/580

Planning on DIY elk/mule deer hunt in the norther portion of the Crazy Mtns. this fall in the 315/580 units. Have hunted Montana several times but never that area. Any information would be helpful. I plan on a 7 day backpack hunt and looking to get away from the crowds.
