For property maps Gaia or onX are the only two I've used. onX was unreliable.

How is onx unreliable? I've had it since it was huntinggpsmaps.com and have never seen it be off.

Just picked up Utah and Montana chips for my new garmin from camofire.com and it's amazing what info you can find out. Like who actually owns the house next door :)

Never tried Scoutlook, but the individual onx chips seems to be near perfect in basecamp on my computer or my garmin c400t. Just wish the garmins were as reliable as onx !!!

Cheers, Pete

c3: I've found that loading the onX was unreliable on my iphone. I've used it for 3 seasons and still had problems. Glad to hear that the GPS chips were good for you.

From a property ownership data perspective, I don't think it matters. They both have to get the data from the counties, so they should be getting the same data. Where the difference comes in should be in the data overlays, base maps, user-created data and overlay/markup sharing they offer.
