Back at Shiloh Ranch Hunting hogs (shocking, I know) I am the only hunter in camp so it’s spot and stalk time to the innermost reaches of the Ranch. Service is spotty at best. May sit a stand for the last 30 minutes if I don’t get a shot. 1.5 inches of rain this morning. Sun is out, 91 degrees, wind out of the N-NW. Will try to update from time to time. Headed for the East fence to get the wind right and then drop down by the creek.

Good luck. I've been on many solo hunts & its ok for a cleansing of the soul but campfire fun sucks.. 1 or 2 others make for a little more joy.. I've went from Pigs to waterhole Antelope. Next year again with son & a couple friends. Good Luck & get the one ya want.

Pigs every 5-10 minutes. Several stalks (5-6) but no shots. Drew down twice but each time the wind gave away. Sitting in the ground blind at 7 for the last few minutes.

BowhuntKS, I like to do the autopsy as well. Lungs looked intact. Shot angled forward, passing completely through the front offside leg. Must have hit some artery in the leg as there was a bunch of hemorrhage as well.

That's why I went to a 1 3/4 cut mechanical. That extra 3/4" over my old fixed blade could make a difference when needed.

Darn nice hog in both pics, I've never taken a picture of a fish yet that I tried to make smaller. I've shot a few hogs at Shiloh, and that one is a dandy.
