In the past I always packed Moleskin in case of a "hotspot". Is there anything better. I really don't want to put Duct tape on my skin.

I’ve carried mole skin and now tape with me for over 25 years and never needed it. The only time I did need it I didn’t have it. Ended up putting a $5 bill between my heel and sock and made it back to the trailhead. Sure lucky I had some cash!

Tough as nails. Thin as paper. Stays on for weeks. Works when wet

Never heard of it so I giggled it. Sounds good. Will pack some with me.

In this case Bou does know best, Leuko tape hands down. If anyone else even posts to this thread you will be lashed 12 times with a wet noodle and banashed from bowsite for 36 seconds!

Bou'bound has it right, I have been using it for 2-3 years, I use it for more than just hunting, an Awesome product! Moleskin Sucks!

We used to use moleskin like crazy, back when I was an Army Medic, 38 years ago.
I recommended Leuko Tape for my Daughter when she went through Marine Infantry Training...because I should HOPE they came up with something better than moleskin over 38 years!

Leukotape is the best by far...in a 10 day goat hunt i taped a total of 2 time ( i always tape prior just incase) and have sweaty feet...works great and stays in place

I know its been already said, but leukotape is what you want. The stuff is fantastic.

Almost everyone has spots they know are their "hot spots"....I tape these areas before the hunt starts and don`t remove it until it ends.

Leuokotape is great preventatively or with a "hot spot". If you have already blistered, use moleskin to "donut" the area. The thicker moleskin (often more than one layer) allows the pressure to be removed from the blistered area to promote better healing and comfort. Obviously, it best not to get to that stage!!

Leuko....wore it for the duration of a 14 day BC hunt and had ZERO foot issues!

What is the difference between Leuko tape P and Leuko tape K?
From: SixLomaz

K has potassium while P has phosphorus therefore you better buy and carry both types for any situation. Just kidding. The explanation is that K designated tape is for therapeutic Kinesiology sports applications while the P is specifically designed for the patellofemoral (McConnell) taping applications (sports).

What do the P and K do?
