First time posting on bowsite.com and thought I would share a video featuring my 2017 season in MN. In this video I am fortunate to arrow my #1 buck from last year. The buck has matching triple brow tines and gives me a broadside shot in the middle of a Minnesota snowstorm. https://youtu.be/QIg9iyxbFcQ Enjoy the video and if you like it check out my YouTube channel to see the video of the buck I shot in 2016. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCKEifw54ryjeeZnQDM36opQ Thanks for watching and good luck out there this Fall!!
I put a small dish of birdseed in the stand the week before I started hunting to get them coming to the tree. Then it took a couple days for the birds to start landing on me and eating out of my hand. Helps pass the time..
Agree with all the above. Awesome video. Self filmed is tough! I was really impressed you kept moving the camera to get the shot....would have been tempting to just get set up and make the shot without getting it on film! Well done
Congrats - ya I was thinking the same as SBH. Tough especially on such a nice buck to let it keep walking and move the camera and try again. So much can always go wrong. Congrats on a nice video and a stellar buck.
Non-hunters, like several of my family members, don’t generally appreciate a video like this. So thank you for all the encouraging words. I am planning to have my camera rolling again this Fall and hope to capture another great buck kill. Good luck to all of you. Fuel the passion and feed the birds..
Private land and I could not have put a second arrow in him. I knew the shot was good and I could see blood pouring out as he walked away. I agree it’s amazing that he didn’t know he was hit until it was lights out and he tipped over backwards.
Great video....thanks for sharing. Around 5:10 in the video, it shows the buck approaching, and there is a large limb in the tree that appears to be cut, but it is still in the tree.....is it just a broken limb, or is it partially hinge cut to clear a shooting lane?
