They are amazing..’got the land online somewhere. Made out of shower curtains. We Had them seen up.. they get you off the ground and are Super light. Three sticks/logs, One on the bottom and some parachute cords to steady it.. 4 ounces and your good to go.. and no ground sitting. They are called hammock chairs ..i don’t have a close up on my phone but will get one posted and the plans. The plans are online.. I’ll get a link

Fabric looks easy enough to replicate it's the support structure schematic that I'm interested in? Did you just cut the limbs in camp?

I like not being on the ground as well.......seat and sleep....works for both. I will be sleeping in it Saturday night after glassing/photoing some elk as they come out to feed and hopefully be on them with the glass again Sunday morning. Can't wait!

Fuzz, that’s it! One quick note, it made it easier to set the brace limb with a little paracord and notching a grove into the brace legs where you want the height of the brace ( under your legs)

Treeline- Looks like the Cabelas NorthStar Bivy tent. Used it a few times. Not being able to sit up and no room to get dressed inside caused me to move on.

Yeah Jordan - there’s a group of 380” plus bulls 100 yards behind the tent that take turns impaling themselves on my broadhead each season, so I try and bar access for any other hunters the best I can:) ( actually the road dead ends right where the picture stops).

I know, I know! Just to cheap to upgrade! Will have to now because I busted the poles on that one in Arizona last year. I think I dropped a heavy pack on it and shattered the poles.

Funny little story I was reminded of with the camp picture I posted. Well maybe not all that funny. Anyway, my old fire red pack hanging in the tree reminded me. A few years back the local wildlife officer friend of mine asked me where my camp was in this particular wilderness. Told her I wouldn't tell her. She said she'd find me cuz she works that area. Told her she couldn't because I paint up and become part of the mountain and nobody can find me. But she said she would. Turns out she spent a couple days in there on horseback checking hunters and looking for me and never did and had to admit it over a beer. Well, the next year she said how'd you like me to pack your camp in for you on my mule? It's about a 5 mile pack. And just how dumb do I look? So I let her! That's why i had that old red pack cuz it packed on the mule well. Not sure who won that game!
