I drew 49 finally but the area I was planning to hunt burned in the Weston Pass fire - guess I will be shifting back South West a bit

They didn't burn up.. but I heard they all blew out of there when the fire started.. the CPW guys don't expect them to be back for a while like stands said, worthless tag at this point

They didn't blow out at all. Saw a heard of about 100 two weekends ago on the NE side of Weston.

If you want a spike or a cow...lol. Not sure it is worth what it costs anymore. We will be in that area in Sept, but most likely across the highway.(45 otc)

I saw some great 6 point bulls in 49 last year (granted I spent the entire month of August there). Not sure how the fire affected them, but I think it'd be a great tag to have on a normal year.
