patch kit

What's the best/smallest patch kit to get for an air mattress? I seem to have lost my patch kit...

I have the Gear Aid, but have never had to use it.

I think the Gear Aid would work. I've used it on pack and waders. Thermarest makes a repair kit called the Therm-a-Rest Permanent Home Sleeping Pad Repair Kit. You can also buy the in field repair kit that came with their pads.
