Any favorites?

And what, if any, do you prep shafts with before fletching? I typically wipe them down with alcohol wipes.

I like G5 blue glue for teaching my dog to fetch. It really seams to stick with him. ;)

VaneTec VT 2000 (on VaneTec vanes) on wrapped shafts......It would take a herd of monkeys to tear them off.

I don't go through enough arrows. Platinum fletchtite works well when it is fresh, but I have had it go bad on me a few times.

Best I've used so far is Loctite super glue professional liquid. I clean shafts with acetone and then denatured alcohol and cote vane bases with Zing primer.

I use Loctite super glue also. If I am remembering correctly, it is hydrophilic and I didn't have great luck with acetone, or alcohol. I just scrub my shafts with hot water and comet, then rinse well, and dry. I don't ever loose fletchings now. I think Big Dan posted this technique years ago. Good Luck Fuzzy. I's hate to see you loose a feather/fletch while shooting your Sitka:-)

Used tape for the first time yesterday. Man I'm never going back to glue again.
