It has been dry as a popcorn fart the last week after a week of cooler temps and moisture......good to see some storms blow through the area a week before my buddies show up for the opener. This is after the heavy stuff hit the spot. Forecast is looking good for more shots of moisture coming in the next week. Did your spot get wet today.......errr.....maybe I should rephrase that........

1/2" of a good steady rain this evening in Littleton. Went outside and just stood in it as it felt so good. We needed it. Hoping the CO fires in the mountains got just as much or more.

My namesake is like an oasis in the desert this year. While the rest of Colorado is drying up and burning up, the Canyon is as lush and green as I’ve ever seen it.
