Fall is approaching fast bear season starts the 27th 4 guys hunting that week. We have had a dirty hot summer with very little rain I am not sure how that’s going to play out with bear movement at months end. Got the first round of bait out there was sign of bear at a few baits, run across a pack of wolves there was at least five today all greys. Been a busy summer it will be like a holiday when we start hunting bear.

31 today again crazy year the bears will be hanging where there’s water this creek usually has all kinds of water it’s bone dry.

Yup. Humidity & heat just don’t want to cut loose but we just can’t seem to get a good rain or thundershower here in West MI. Looking forward to seeing you guys again next week! Andy is pretty pumped up as well. 8~)

I told April today as we were driving by Ochre River one of the guys is going to kill one same size as the statue they got there , she said I don't think so that one would be 1,000 lbs live. so if we get one like that I will get u over to load Craig. This one will have to grow a few years to get that big, nice color it might be the same one as on top. Going to do the baits a couple times this week should have a few pics.

Had a couple that can’t make it next spring they have fallen on hard times when I get them sold I will send them there deposit back, I don’t usually send deposits back but sometimes stuff happens that’s out of our control, been there. The last week may 27 2019 if someone’s interested we will try put a smile on your face like this young fellow this spring.

The nuts r falling already I think I have something this year that will keep them coming back hoping anyway. they r coming good right now not after the grain much again this fall I think the boys will do ok.

Had a big bear baiting with me this morning my good friend Greg Miller, bowsite handle grape, was nice having someone along for a change we did 5 baits 4 to go nap time first the baits look promising with very healthy color population right now.

Thanks Lexi and April ...I’ve said it many times before. I will say it again. Any bear hunter out there that loves to see bears, hunt bears, and eat meals fit for a King; you need to put Desjardins on your bucket list. Openings may be hard to come by. Put your name on a waiting list. You will never regret it.

Ditto what Grape said. I’ve been fortunate enough to be all over Ontario, Manitoba & Alberta. I’ve never enjoyed being on ANY hunt as much as I have being at Desjardins. EVERYTHING is terrific. The hunting, the accommodations, the meals but especially the time spent with April, Alexis & the rest of the crew (like Grape) we’ve become so accustomed to. There’s no place like Manitoba, the Riding Mountains & no place like Desjardins.
