Just came back into town real quick to drop off meat..going back to camp shortly to hopefully find a Bou..seen many none big enough... one thing that’s amazing is how the natives pack the meat..they put a sling over their heads and carry the weight on their neck...I’m not talking a loin or a front leg The entire rear end and legs for miles

She's giggling cause the two people packing the meat are way ahead of the yankee in the back with the trekking poles ;) JK That's pretty crazy. I'm getting a headache just thinking about it.

Ohhh yea I shot a couple of good ox so far too... First one was a giant ... rough scored it at 109

Second one haven’t taped it yet but it’s not much smaller than the first one...

Did not like how they broke down the animal. I ended up carrying out two pelvic bones. They aren’t light and a total waste to bring out!

They are a lot bigger than I thought. One guy cannot move them. Ed F

I was talking to my caribou guide up in Nunavut and he said that he had to give up guiding because his back finally gave out on him. You can carry heavy loads just so long and it will catch up to you.
