Does anyone know of a 100 gr insert for Easton axis arrows? I know they have 50-75. My arrows tuned better with 125 gr head this year but I’m trying to be cheap I guess since I have probably 40 100 gr broadheads. Any suggestions

Check out Ethics Archery, not sure on the grain offerings from them, but they have some nice footed outsert that strengthen your arrow and give you a little more weight

Never heard of a 100 grain insert for the Axis, not made by Easton anyway. Might have luck with an after market insert or outsert.

How much total weight up front did you tune with? Were you using the 75gr insert with the 125gr tip?

From your original post it sounds like you used the standard aluminum HIT insert (22grains) with a 125 grain tip for about 147 up front. If that is the case the easy solution is to use the 50 grain brass insert with your 100 grain broadheads for nearly the same 150 grains up front.

Three rivers has them. They work great!

Yeah 75 insert and 125 head. Probably best to just go with 125 broadheads but making sure there wasn’t something else out there

looks like the 3rivers 100gr brass HIT is the answer

Want an easy way? Buy 2 packs of brass. Break off both so you have 2 50’s. Glue them both and insert slowly and evenly back to back. Lay flat and let dry.

Uc I actually thought about that just didn’t know if they would stay

Of course they will. Use the same glue that comes with them. You could actually use hot melt for the second insert so if you wanted to remove them you could probably remove them from the back with some heat. Not sure about that though.

On a side note it should add a little strength down the shaft. Just a hypothesis though.

How would you go about adding a 25 to the back of a already glued in 75 gr? Coat hanger??

Lol no clue! I didn’t realize you already glued them in. Missed that part! You’re screwed for my idea. Haha

Check out Lancaster Archery and 3-Rivers for 100 gr. inserts to fit Axis size shafts.

50/75 gr. Easton break-off brass insert is for FMJ and the 6MM shafts (X nock size).

50 + 50 = 100
