Anyone tried these? Getting ready for a moose hunt in Newfoundland and understand I need to be prepared against wet feet. I am fighting bad case of plantar facitis and there is no way I can walk far in rubber boots even with custom insoles. These seem like my best and most comfy option if they actually remain waterproof...but I am skeptical...

These just happen to be my all-time favorite boots for moose hunting.

I'm interested too. I tried a pair on, but couldn't get myself to pay that much for them without some info on their durability.
Seems like such a great idea, I just can't get rid of this feeling that something will tare or ware out quickly.

They look good, but get yourself a pair of seal skins socks to wear with them.

I just got them. My foot is fairly wide and the only sizes that were wide enough are a bit long, so I have some heel slippage which has me worried. I will ratchet down the boa as hard as I can to try to minimize that. Otherwise, I think I will like them. Definitely gonna get sweaty but no worse than a rubber boot.

I broke down and bought a pair over the weekend. I'm still a little nervous about the gaiter portion staying in tact when walking through thick brush, or climbing trees, but only time will tell.
They are darn comfortable compared to rubber boots.

I bought a pair for my upcoming AK moose hunt, they were pretty stiff off the bat but after a few miles on them they are getting better. I think they will work fine.

Too bad local temps are in the 90s. I dont see any chance of breaking them in before the hunt. Will just bring some leukotape if hotspots develop.
