Leaving for Colorado Thursday, cant seem to concentrate here at work..... 17 days of hunting, all the scouting , shooting, working out, ....... I love September! I wish there were 12 in a year!

Hitting the mountain tomorrow morning before sun up will hunt all day with my boy in our Co otc spot then leaving the 31st for Wyo!! Can’t get here soon enough. Already checked out mentally! It’s truly agonizing. ;-)

the last hours are the hardest for sure. 1/2 the fun is getting ready and the anticipation and excitement. I love being in the mountains this time of year.

Rolling tonight. It's my sons first year for big game. He has a deer tag so I may not get much elk hunting done and that's ok.
