On September 3, 2001 I got some serious snow on an elk hunt in SW Montana. It surprised me to say the least.

Charles check Dubois WY weather and the DOT webcam at Wind River Lake, I was back in NY for a family gathering on 6/28 and there was snow on the ground and in NY it was 87 and 90 % humidity. No one could believe it! I bet we have snow up there in the morning and the elk will be bugling!!

It looks like areas over 11k in WY got an inch or two, and a few localized areas may have gotten as much as 6 inches based on snowfall maps I saw.

A few years back our party had 80's and even 90's the first week. Went back for the 3rd week and camped in a foot of snow up on the flattops.
