Just saw this behemoth on Facebook. Taken in Nunavut with Adventure Northwest.
Sorry for posting a gun kill-but this thing is unreal!
Holy moly sweet mother of mercy!
Prepare for the long arm complaints...lol
CRAP I was planning on intercepting him in a week. Not sure I’ll even go now
Granted, they only measure the two longest points on the top for scoring purposes.....but the bez points are huge, and not only does it have double shovels, but both of them are gigantic. The one back point that I can see is huge......I am not sure how wide it is, but what an animal. This would be considered a Central Barren Ground, not Barren Ground Caribou....right?

Wow...thing looks fake it's so big!
Holy cow!.....is there such a thing as a non-typical caribou?
JL-no there is not
Damm!!! I had trail cam pics of that one... was hoping to keep it alive till I got there... congratulations to the hunter
# not my Caribou
What a beast!!!!!
That HAS to be a new world record. Too bad (from my personal preference) that it is in velvet. And yeah, why would you need to long arm that one? Crikey...
I think that will score about 114".
congrats to the hunter, bow or gun we enjoy seeing studs like that
Absolutely insane!!! Congrats to the lucky hunter.
Yea no need to long arm that Bou
Giant...Congrats to the hunter and guide!!!!
Long-arming is the only way I see how not to poke your friggin eyes out with those back points!! Beast!! congrats to that dude K
Un flippin believable. Not what I needed to see though after finding out there are no caribou currently in Northern MB and I've got two tags in my pocket. Good thing we are a little flexible on departure date and hope to heck those peckers want to come on down.
Adam, good luck! They should move sometime!
I ain't got enough fingers and toes to count them points !
Sorry for the poor grammer, but we haven't had a good grammer thread in weeks......
I hunted Bou' in Nunavut several years back and never laid eyes on anything like that. Congrats to the lucky hunter
What an amazing animal!
Doesn't even look real! That's crazy. What a bull!
Just imagine what he would have looked like next year?
Congrats to the hunter on harvesting a real beauty !!

Jake......that was killed at Adventure NW's camp on Contwoyto Lake. Same place you could have hunted when you went to Little Marten Lake or White Wolf.......can't remember where you went :-) Sam Kapolak was the guide. It has a legit shot at being the new #1.....have to see how the numbers crunch out. Should be interesting on Saturday when it shows up in town. Hopefully we have an hour or two to get a rough idea. Tough one to score for sure!!! The big boys are starting to show up and they have a couple of weeks left up there. It was perfect for growth up there this year. Cold and wet kept the bugs down and the tundra lush. Gonna be some top shelf critters coming out of this camp in the next two weeks.
That is a monster.
as best I could count cross referencing three photos there are 56 points on that caribou

Wow, incredible! Congrats to the hunter!
I counted 57-59pts.
