Heading in Willmore Wilderness in the 16th out of Grande Cache. Anyone know how the smoke is up that way?

Yes that’s where I’m flying in. We will enter the trail at Grande Cache and it was Smokey last week before the weather change.
Bullbuster - sorry to hear that! What area in central?

Central B.C. is starting to clear, but you may run into issues with glassing - had to pull out of a recent sheep and caribou hunt because there was no way to see across the valleys and count points/full curl. Depending on how your planning to hunt it might not be an issue.
Love to pick your brain re. Access from the AB side. Want to hunt Kakwa next year but access from the SW is problematic.

Just returned home from a week in northern alberta. Drove all the way north through Grande Praire and up to the peace river valley. Even over into BC one day. Smoke was not an issue. Never saw or smelled any.

Caribou77. That’s interesting. Of course we’re going to be a ways south of Grand Prairie but that sounds like great news!

I was pretty wet and rainy up there last week. But we thought it was strange not seeing any as well. They had air quality warnings going on.
