Thanks for the kind words. Black tail are my passion and enjoy the tough conditions and terrain we hunt them in. They are very tough critters to find any time of year. This year I drew an additional tag and have been out 15 days and only seen a fork so far besides that one posted above. Another week or two and things should pick up as does will be coming into the first estrus cycle. Can’t wait to see what pops up during the rut.

Yeah Kauai blacktail. Population is decent here but tough to figure them out. Had a tough season then an epic day just scouting new country looking for rut sign. came across a nice pocket and fit a little rattling. Saw 3 bucks and 2 does in the matter of 2 hours

20 days in the woods and this was the guy I finally put an arrow through. Pretty hard to pass up a harvest on thanksgiving morning.
