7 days 35 at night 50s during the day . Once it’s cold and gets a good crust it will be fine

studies say with 65 degree highs during the day, properly hung, cooled in the shade, 5 day planning figure. Make sure it is hung in the shade in game bags, use pepper if flies continue to be a problem.

Well you can hang for 3 weeks no problem at about 45 degrees so go from there.

Caribou, 8 days in Alaska fly-in hunt, in bags, at fairly warm temps 50 - 60.. By the end, we were starting to lose some of the 'damaged' pieces to spoilage. Spent 6 days moving it continually to keep it in the shade. Peppered it, and I also put one unskinned hind quarter in a cold creek pool. It kept the best of all of it.
