Warm/Dry Weather Strategies for mid-Sept

Leaving for SW Colorado next Friday, Sept 7. Looks like a decent amount of Monsoon rain has hit my area past few weeks but also looks like it will be warmer, dryer by the time I get there. If it is hot and dry, is hunting springs/ wallows still a good strategy in mid-Sept when bulls are gathering or already with cows? Also, does warmer weather put a damper on daytime movement, bugling or does the rut and new Moon rule?
