While hunting in South Dakota during late August this year, I observed a single buck bedded amidst a herd of 27 does and fawns. The next day, I saw him and a smaller buck just hanging out together about a mile from where I had saw him the day before. Just to check, I went back to the spot where I had seen him the day previous and found that all the does and fawns were bedded by themselves in the same area. I plan on going back out later this month with my decoy to see if I can get a shot at him.

I have seen a few different bucks with does in Wyoming. There has been some chasing going on as well.
