I received the bad news today that my mule deer cape from early September did not make it through tanning, hair slipped in numerous places.
Does anyone here happen to have an extra one or know someone who does? Looking for an early season cape from a mature buck.
There aren't many extra muley capes down here in Louisiana. :(
Here are a few pictures for reference. Thank you guys in advance if anyone can help.

The early part is difficult. Rifled muley capes aren't hard to find but that's Oct/ Nov for the most part.

Will check. My boy had one from last year in the freezer. Can’t remember if he did anything with it.
I got an antelope cape if anyone needs a good one.

If you strike out go to Taxidermy.net....you can post in the "Wanted" or browse the "For sale" as a guest. They will usually have what you need.

Jared-
I may have one from an early season Alberta Mulie. Large bodied buck, was likely north of 240 lbs., field dressed. Cape is tanned, hydrated and frozen.
PM me for additional info.
