I'll start with this, I won't deny I feel a little dirty hunting Zone 3 on Sunday, private land for the first time.
Hunting river bottom/wetlands/swamp area/mosquito haven. Slight s/sw wind, 23ft up in hangon, Muddy Magnum safety harness. Beavers are laying down some serious wood this morning!. Heard a few trees crash pre dawn.

Out in montville. . Gotta love clear radar but im.getting wet. Two trees fell in the bottom. About a hour so ago. Let's see if its worth getting wet.

DeerDan & Soapdish, feel free to post any activity here.
Quiet this morning, besides a few tree crashes. Wind is mostly dead calm.
I'm going speed scout this property today and figure out deer's travel patterns to new bedding area because I'm convinced the one they have been using for years, has been flooded out.

Out also in Newtown, nothing moving,we're the hell did the rain come from, radar was clear when I left the house, got in the stand and got poured on.

I'm done, no movement. Perhaps mid day or evening they'll be on their feet.
Surprisingly, no beaver comments, must be because its sabbath Sunday

I'm done for the morning didn't see any deer but did find a nice fresh rub line a some huge tracks in the mud. Gotta change my rotors and pads before rain and hopefully hunt the afternoon. I had a easy shot on a fat doe at 530 lastnight and then fawn came running in and started nursing. Oh well!
