Me and my brother in law are headed to area 43 and 39 in Idaho for mule deer any good suggestion or areas I should try? Or stay clear of? We are hiking.

So far lots of deer only 3 bucks. I passed on a 2x2. Seen a nice 4x4 across the gulley to far to shoot. He was gone by the time I scaled that mountain lol. Little different hunting for me lol. This flat lander ain’t used to glassing mountain ranges but I love it I’m hooked and it’s only 3 days in.

I just got back from a mid-October rifle elk hunt. Saw lots of does and a few sporadic bucks. The bucks disappeared soon after sunrise. The does did not. Good luck!

The hunt is over boys I passed on a couple small ones but seen a shooter. Yes this flatlander hiked some serious mountains lol. I had a blast definitely going back.
