Been here for years-possibly 20 if I remember correctly. I’m more worried about a bunch of other stuff than bovine TB in deer-but your mileage may vary.

I'd probably be more concerned with bovine TB in beef. That's why I prefer venison.

Wild cervids will always harbor TB to some extent; many states in the US are TB free and thus should not be a concern when eating beef. You're much more likely to encounter TB through deer and elk than you ever would with Beef. This has been circulating all over facebook in the last two weeks and really is nothing new.

Here in Michigan, crossbow hunters are a greater threat to the population of deer than TB.

206,000 cross bow hunters took 95,000 deer in Michigan last year according to a mailing sent out by one of our state reps.
