Idaho shelter

Trying to figure out what I wanna run for elk and deer in Idaho for shelter I'm running alps zephyr 1 now but thinking of saving space and weight and getting seek Silvertip tipi. What's everyones thoughts on tipi regarding to snakes etc never hunted Idaho so not sure what to expect so trying to plan ahead

What time of year and what part of the state? Some parts I might think about snakes, others it would never cross my mind
