Bowsiters, I am researching a bow hunt for rutting Elk in New Mexico. Looking for 2 spots, one for a young 70 year old and a 48 year old. Both in good health. Not looking for a gruelling hunt. Ideas or suggestions appreciated. Thanks!!!!

Dale06 is correct how are you going to get two tags? With the draw good luck. Landowner be prepared to spend some serious money, and you need to watch which landowner tags you are getting, Ranch only or Unit wide. Obviously the better the unit the higher the price on landowners.

Backcountry Hunts out of Carlsbad might be able to help you. Know they have some landowner tags in southern NM. Just talked to the owner who was picking up two capes from a meat processor who live on my street. I've known him a long time but never used him. He does little or no advertising and seems to get clients from past clients.
