Gotta a good month ahead of me, busy, travelling man and hopefully successful hunting .
Az., Iowa, and Utah.
Taking the F350 on the elk hunts and the JP on the Whitetail hunt. Towing the Combo Camp lil Utility trlr on each hunt for my coolers and other chit man!
I've got warm, relaxing Cabins booked in each state for my hunt dates, I should be safe and comfy with any deep freeze weather that hits, with less than 30 minute drives to my hunt area's.
I still can't draw my wheels Diamond Bow so I have been shooting/hunting with my old school Recurve for the bow hunt part of my Nov. Journey.
Everyone I helped out Pre-Season Scouting the unit/species they drew out here in the Rocky Mnt. states have tagged out, Wyo Region G Muleys, Ut. Mnt. Goats, Wyo. Shiras Moose, Az. Bull Elk. I posted many of the trips scouting Pix on here during the summer months.
I only have 1 commitment left and I will be there on Day 3 of the hunt if all goes as planned, a young lady drew a Utah Rocky Ram tag and will hunt the early opener days with her dad and uncle.
I have knowledge/experience in my Utah elk unit and in my Az. Elk unit, I went on a scouting trip to Iowa during the summer and Although this will be my very 1st Whitetail tag in my life, I feel good vibes about my scouting trip and that limited knowledge gained. Of course a Thank You to those of you on here whom have shared Whitetail Deer stratagies with me!!
I'll do a Re-Cap of my Journey if it's worthy!! haha

Good Morning
I'm on the Road in about an hour...…
Good luck, Robb
I never get on the Internet when I am gone, just my cell for messages ect., so sorry about not answering the PM's sooner------->
Plus I only get on the Internet sites, once a day in the early AM here at home.
Funny, those of you that asked about my Financial Planner for my retirement ! haha
Anyways, this Elk hunt was in Utah. The way I play this hunt is if I draw the Muzzy Cow tag $50.00 then I buy the OTC Muzzy Any Bull tag $50.00, so if it's Brown, it's down! Or so my plan is anyways.
Beautiful country!
Red Canyon Lodge/Cabins.
So I hunted elk 3 days and ended up on Ram (Rocky) 2 days.
I got home late last night after spending Sunday on the Ram mountain.
I logged 38.7 total miles in the 5 days, my Ab's are looking great this AM--haha, down 7 lbs since I left last week.
I got my Yearly Physical results about 2 weeks ago and my 15.8% Body Fat Content has Got to be Under 15% now!
They had only seen 1 small Ram in the 1st 3 days they had been hunting.
We got into 3 Rams at about 139 yards. She is shooting an 30.06 rifle with a 3 x 9 x 40 scope.
I aged the biggest Ram @ 6 1/2 and I felt he would score 145-150 and it was certainly a decent Ram for her to harvest.
She was all excited and wanted to take the Ram. Her Dad said she should wait for something bigger......so she didn't shoot.
I have mixed Emotions about that decision ~~ after all @ 18 years old and her 1st Ram AND it being her tag...…..extra help (Me) to help pack him out the 4+ miles ~~~But no shot taken.
Yesterday/Sunday, the wind was unforgiving and we only saw the same band of Rams.....
Hiking out, I look up into sky and wondered why I deserved to have such a great time experiencing this Rocky Mountain outdoor gig, Thank you Lord.
I am buried today---ya know that first day back from being gone, groceries, gym, banking, Laundry--Laundry and ect!!! haha
Final re-cap to follow,
Thanks for Viewing

I have my MRI this morning, dental tomorrow and then some laser treatment on some facial pre skin cancer spots.
Then Viva Iowa on Saturday morning, 22 hour drive but very scenic along the way.
I ended up eating $100.00 as I didn't harvest my elk tags. Oh well....
