I do appreciate Bear shipping it back, replacing the cracked limb for free. I don't understand though why I was then asked to ship the string stops I'd taken off. They weren't working then, and it came back with the same ones, jumping the top stop. Paperwork says tracking is OK. I guess they couldn't fix it either, so off they came again as a lighter bow works for me. Time to check out a decent amateur target compound. I still love Bear traditional bows, & maybe the high ends don't have these issues. I don't know. A guy or two that have forgotten more than I'll ever know say the limbs are notorious for cracking. It lasted 8 years, and most serious shooters buy a new bow every 1-3 years, so I'm not complaining, just mentioning I find it funny it still jumped those stops & they say all is good. Tried 2 new sets of boots, no help. The weird thing is it only started doing this in this last year. I guess it's just time for me to move up a notch instead of a RTH package bow. Thanks for the correct size.
Standard sight screw size please send

Guys, I just got my bow back from Bear free of charge! So a HUGE thank you to them. It's a 2011 Mauler with brand new 70# limbs, & I'm a left eye dominant so I really appreciate when a deal or gift pops up, seeing so many great deals on rightys I have to pass on. My question for you fellas, as I was hoping to put new carbon fiber micro click sight on & throw some Hexx's before school. I really didn't want to tap it for Allen bolts I do have. I can't find the tapered head screws it had when I took accessories off to send to factory. So, do all compound bows use a standard size bolt, thread pitch, TPI? Once I know if standard or what Size Bear uses I can go to the nearest dealer (PSE, and yes I want one but he NEVER has a lefty to even try) and grab 2 bolts. Maybe even ACE carries a fitting substitute. Thanks

Really simple....go to the hardware store and pick up some 10-24 screws in the length you need. 10-24 is the standard thread size for sights and quivers.

Thanks Bowfreak. I figured it out and settled for now with improper non tapered heads.
