On the way to Scheels (only shop open around here) and need arrows for my bow (just got it the other day, not the route I wanted to take but my other bows limbs delaminated on me).

65# RX1 Ultra, 85% mods are installed and I draw 29" it's the #3 cam (28-31")

Prefer a 125 point but can go to 100 if need be. Never had a 65# bow before, I'm assuming 340's would be about perfect cut to 28" or so?

I'm shooting slick trick standards if that makes any difference.

Thanks in advance!!!

340's would be a solid choice, I would potentially consider 300's if you move to a 125 gr head. A properly tuned bow with a mechanical release makes it almost impossible to be over spined so I lean towards the heavier side.

I've tried 300's, they arent shooting the slick tricks, killzones, hypodermic +P, or stingers.

It paper tuned ok with the 300's idk what the heck is happening.

If your 340's shoot well, the 300's will shoot well. Are you sure all else was equal when you last shot 300's?

I shoot 400's from the same setup.

"as is 65#" could it be that the increased weight is causing shooting issues? I'm no spine expert but 300 sounds stiff. I shoot 68#, 28" draw, and 400's. I can put anywhere from 100gr heads to 150gr heads on and they all spine. Fixed blades with my FP out to forever.

Don't let anyone tell you it's impossible to overspine. It's very possible. I've done it. Tried 340's couldn't get anything to go, went back to 400 and problem solved.

Hello, I have always shot 70+. Got this bow (love it, incredibly smooth!) But have shot 70 or more since i started bowhunting.

I shoot a 70# bow at 30" draw and I shoot a 340 - 28.5" long with a 100 gr. Point. A 400 is probably perfect for your setup with a 100gr point. Remeber if you cut an arrow the arrow gets stiffer. If you use a 300 / 340 and it is over spined you qould probably need a 200gr point to get it to spine.

Good luck!
