First live hunt of the season. Sitting my favorite farm, I’ve given the farm a 3 week break. Wind is a perfect NW, currently 18 degrees. Seen lots of deer out in the fields when pulling in. Hoping to catch one of the three shooters I know of, following a doe back to the bedroom. Catch y’all in a little bit.

On stand, nothing like climbing a tree with a bunch of layers on. This tree isn’t easy to climb, it curves it splits, it leans lol but the only option

Sitting the same farm this afternoon, different stand, about 250 yards south of my stand this morning. Current temp 35°..Blew a few does out coming in.

Seen 7-8 does, a forky and a broke off 8...forky was chasing does all over. No shots.
