Wireless camera took a series of photos of this strange object “floating” by.

I’m perplexed on what it is - so asking for some other thoughts?

Camera is in Ohio, Located in the middle of the woods. No roads remotely close to the location.

Also, I believe it’s moving into the wind direction.

Time stamp shows three minutes between photos. Are there more between those or is your camera set for three minute delay?

Very odd. Looks like a floating stick. Any Bigfoot sightings nearby?

No photos between - 3 minute delay between photos.

If you notice there’s a secondary camera (service is spotty for wireless sometimes)

So it may tell a different story.

I was going to say moth but I've never seen a moth flying around when it's 20 degrees.

Just read there are some moths that are adults during the winter....the December Moth and the Winter Moth.

Gotta pic of a Luna moth once, it was as big as a plate but you could tell it was a moth.

Barry Wensel once told us a story of a light that he experienced while hunting pigs down in Texas. It was almost like a floating flashlight. He couldn't explain it and he was eyes on.

Somebodies f'ing with you. Apparently it worked.

Could be one of those grubs that float off of trees with spidersilk like stuff out of their butt and it's actually much closer than it appears.

This photo montage is quite interesting. Probably never will get an answer to what this thing is. Very puzzling!

About 7 - 8 years ago I had something of a similar experience here in Wisconsin. Late one night one of my game cameras showed a series of small lights (all appeared circular in shape)(maybe a half dozen of them) floating around in front of the camera for a few minutes. They moved left, right and also up and down. No idea what they were. Camera was positioned deep in the woods at least a half-mile from any road or building. Had not seen them before that time or ever again. Never discovered origin of the lights. Another unexplained mystery. Kinda makes you wonder what is really out there!

Casekiska - if you notice what you described is pretty much what’s going on in that photo. 6 small circular lights floating for a few minutes in front of the camera.

This camera is deep back in the woods, not really expecting that someone would make a journey back to mess with me.

Spider web with something it in close by the camera. It glows because of the camera light.

I experienced something similar

It could be almost anything. As pointed out, it’s the camera itself that makes moving objects appear to “glow” at night.

Falling snowflakes??

And how would one prepare their anus for alien probe?

My first reaction was an inch worm or silk worm hanging pretty close in front of your camera... but that would be unlikely in December. Other than that, I don't have an explanation for you. Strange for sure!

AZ8's Link
It’s an optical illusion. It’s not in the trees, but rather ON the lens.

The culprit is likely a small insect, spider, ant....actually on the lens itself. The IR light is over saturating the image because it’s so close to the lens. In this case, it’s crawling along the lens from right to left.

Here’s a similar video. In the second video at the end, you can see the “spider” actually slip and grab itself again with its silk like they always do.

I had a pine needle swinging on a spider web in front of one of my cameras it did the same thing. Scott

I think AZ8 nailed it. I wasn't aware of this, but certainly seems like the best explanation.
